Will anyone be taking advantage of the holiday? If so where do you plan on boating.

My plans (hopefully): Upstate NY 1000 islands area St. Lawrence and Black Lake.

so we will be doing the marina rat, party cove, sun burn, night time rocking , and overnighting routine on the Formula SS. Then repeat.
We did a little mid-week pre-cruise last night, and I think even Tom would like the transom and LED lighting, as well as the tunes!
The water behind the boat looks like a swimming pool. Awesome... now it just needs to warm up a little.

And if it rains, we will bail out and smoke up a mess of moo for the neighborhood up on the hill.

The Donzi is parked for now, but the back-up ain't too bad...

Have fun out there. 1000 Islands are awesome!

Hedn back down to Cumberland tonight for 3 days. Hopefully will meet up with tripper in his new ss barge! Looking forward to a cold one hanging with family and friends on the malibu! Maybe even get a board session or 2 in!

Well, I won't be boating, but hoping to make a trip to the big box home improvement store to pick up some stuff to start doing some more work on the 16.

I'm going to stabilize the hull, then continue to cut out the old stringers, and start making the new ones.

But one step at a time,... gotta get it off the trailer, and onto my contraption.

The Donzi is awaiting a new SEI upper and lower, and drive shower, due on Tuesday. But I've been getting some seat time on my '82 Wetbike. I had it out on Thursday for the first time this season and the second time ever. I picked it up last September and was only able to get it out once before cold weather. Mechanically it was in pretty good shape, but the fiberglass needed wet sanding and polishing, and the graphics needed to be totally redone. Went through the carbs last winter, and it starts and runs fine now. The bike is not fast by today's standards, but takes more skill to ride than a jet ski - skill which I am still acquiring.

Also been out with the family on the pontoon. Totally different boating, but enjoyable in it's own way.

Home of the raft-off for AOTH. But this time, we will be trying to park a semi inside the head of a needle with an audience of about 5000. No pressure, but once we are in, we are staying for awhile. Byron Family, Inc will be there, so we'll squeeze the behomoth in and make a day, and perhaps an evening of it. Doesn't suck. I've also heard rumbles that the place is rocking, so we will take a camera... We'll post a pic or two.

Hope everybody is having a great weekend!

sounds like fun, I remember having the hardest time getting up on skis when I was smaller, now that I get to drive I thank my dad for his patience.

Finally got around to loading a few pictures from upstate NY.
