Long before I got involved, most ACBS Classic Boat Shows gave a Dock Card to each boat owner to set in his boat, tape to his boat, or push pin to his pier space.
These help everyone that comes to the show to know what the boat is and some basic facts. Boat owners are encouraged to take this home with them after the show. Many save them.
Madpoodle was going to come to the St. Michaels Classic Boat Show, so I did not tell him ahead of time about this year’s 26th Annual Antique and classic Boat Show and Festival special for the Donzi Marine Restoration Society web site. Maybe I am an old man that acts like a kid, but I wanted to knock his socks off in person. Well, as things happen, he could not come to the show.
So let me show the board one sample of this year’s Dock Card that was printed up at the St. Michaels Classic Boat Show for all the boats, both wood and fiberglass.
Madpoodle, I think you and I should think about how we can build on this relationship.

If you cannot read it, click on the photo, it gets bigger.
Anyway, the tilted circle says… Proud to Sponsor Classic Boating.
The it has the logo and then the web address of Donzi.org

Glad we are able to help man, everything I have heard about your event is positive. Great people, great venue, great time! Sorry I could not make the trip, I tried but life (aka work) pretty much toasted any chance I had of getting there. Next year, I have it on my calendar. Plan is to head up there and run people around in Ghosts boat...

..That is very cool Seabuddy....this event is on my "To-Do" list (purely as an attendee, not an entry by any stretch)
