So I'm making plans to go this year. My son is living in Miami, so we're booking our trip to see him at the same time as the boat show.
Should I plan on 1, 2, or 3 days at the show? I'm thinking 2. Anybody know what are the better days to go?

Glen, wish I could help, I would love to go.
However long you stay, have a great time.

Thanks Ken.
I guess I'll be bit more specific in my question(s) and hopefully someone can enlighten me.
The first day of any show usually has the fewest consumers. Why then does the Miami show charge a premium (60% more) for day 1? Is there anything special happening on the first day?

Thursday is trade day. Better day to actually see the show IMO, plus Mercury etc. do all their press conferences that day. Weekend crowded, plus it is also the Coconut Grove art festival weekend which is a great event albeit crowded.
Take one of the ferry boats from downtown Miami to the show. The ones by American Airlines arena usually have a bar on em ;) :)

Thanks. I'm flying in Wednesday, so I'll probably go Thursday and Friday (if I need a second day).

Now there's some really useful information. :CA8:

Trade day is the day to go. If you are into the yatchs also you will need 3 days. The yatchs are over on Miami Beach.

Yacht show has been moved over to the mainland. No one want to deal with Miami Beach anymore, the rules and regulations plus fees are just to much damn trouble.. New location is awesome, (https://www.miamiyachtshow.com/en/home.html) tons of parking, rail access and compact all in one!
