We are there, got a room bayside at the Whitehouse Inn ( 305-893-8289 )
Room is booked for Thursday night Feb 17th,18th,19th and Sunday night, the 20th. Two double beds. Bayside. Leaving in the afternoon on the Monday back for the Northwest.

Who else is in? Who else is traveliing here. Apparently Friday and Saturday are the show days for "us" with Sunday being fun in the sun and a roadtrip.
Saturday was *usually* the fun run boating day, but it don't matter to me, I can get wet either day :happy:
My wife and I are spending the week but no boat this year. Not like I made the boat trip last year anyway. I can't wait

Jill is off training this week for her new job. She is working at a bank in their mortgage division. Why this is important, besides the the positive cash flow, is that she now gets banking holidays. The boat show is 2.17-2.21, and that Monday just happens to be President's Day. Didn't used to care about these kind of holidays, but now I do. This just got a little easier. We shall see.

That listing can not be current. Even it is, the best part of the show is the marina any way. Nothing else like the Miami Boat Show, so have the faith!
I am flexible on this trip, so I will do the typical Premier Day on Thursday, run and ride in the marina on Friday, and then look for locally-sponsored adventure on Saturday. Pretty typical Miami visit.
Jill has a different agenda. She doesn't get in until late Friday night and flys out Monday afternoon.
She was pretty bummed last night, when I told her she might not get any on-water time over the weekend.
It is what it is, but I thought I would mention what the lady requested.
And we are thinking of going by to see Lip-Ship on Monday for anyone that is still around then!
Todd, If Jill want to get some boating in you can go to Ft. Liquordale and take the water taxie around ...:grin::grin:
I am pumped about this. The rain here is getting to me and I am sick and tired of driving to the marina and bailing out the little boat :( Would love to see some sun and 75 deg +

We were there before they tore it all down. Cigarette and Magnum were still buidling boats. We walked up on the Cigarette plant and got an informal tour from Neal Hernandez, including a look at the Gladiator bottom plug under development and an all black and green Patron promo 38 being finished up and detailed. TNT was pretty cool and we just walked around and looked at all of the boats. The reality? It was just a row of worn out tin shacks and it seemed like a miracle to us that anything of quality could be built there. The boats, people, and history were the cool part. Gone to other places now.
Count me in. Arriving Saturday around noon. Bike rental confirmed.
What day are you guys boating? Showing? If I'm not in the Bahamas, I'd like to make it down and hang out with some Donzi folks,.... and wouldn't mind checking out some of the warez at the show,.... or just a good Grouper Sammie or somethin.
Would only be a single day trip for me, early in, late out.

Pit stopping Wednesday night at the folk's winter sanctuary in Naples and then shooting over to Miami, Thursday morning. I am staying at the luxurious and status-oriented, Whitehouse Inn with you guys. We can enjoy all of its luxury together, while we swill Budwieser on the back porch.
