A teaser from last year. Thanks to our Chatt crew for the sweet camera work!
I heard the Yellow boat is back and ready!!! He isn't going to let me pose as Ghost in an orange lifeline again either!!
Speaking of Orange---how is Stans boat coming along? Are we going to see it?
I have heard a couple other long term projects are going to be debuted at AOTH 2015!!!!

"One boat was put to rest" but it looks like Gregg was kicking some serious ass in the process and a little birdie told me that he got it up and running again in no time but everyone was too cold by then! This year will be hot and sunny as usual. I don't know anything about the lumber situation though. So who got the shower under the waterfall? I am really looking forward to this!
-
How much is the fee per person to attend? What is the price range on the rooms? When do most arrive? When is the parking lot show before the boats are put in the water? Trying to make some preliminary plans.
-
Carl,
Last year fee was $75.00/ person included the following:
T-shirt
Dinner Thurs, Friday and Saturday.
I just booked my delux room and the fees are as follows:
Thursday: $64.00
Friday and Saturaday: $82.00/per night
Boat slip: $20.00 per night
Plan on a 9 hr drive so you will want to get there and boat on Thursday also it's a dry county so bring your own alcohol.
Oh and don't forget gas money!!:thumbs
take care,
Gregg

Carl; You are an unemployed bum Get down there Wednesday and join Rob and me
Otherwise I am sure Parnell,Bill, and a few others are heading down you can wagon train down
-
I was thinking about getting there Wednesday evening. Do most pull their boats out after Saturday's boating and leave Sunday morning? I will book a room and slip after the official itinerary is released. Leaning towards leaving Sunday morning unless most stay Sunday and leave Monday. From what I've seen on the web cams in the past is that most boats are pulled Sat. night.

Don't worry there will be slower boats than yours. AND maybe even a few faster than you.
Everyone runs wide open at one time or another...Ed

I know, Ed. I should be middle of the pack. I nominate Gregg for pace boat :). I never wanted to be the fastest. I've nothing to prove. I just wanted to make my boat the way I like it and low 80s is fine. I'm also looking forward to getting to ride in at least one of those faster boats! I'm thinking of leaving very early Thursday morning to be there for the "show and shine". I have two goodies saved for the auction. I'm also looking forward to meeting the people whom I've not already met. Especially 'Poodle.

Poodle thanks for posting those attachments! I have been slammed at work lately and not able to get to the boards as often as I would like!
From what I have been hearing, talking, and emailing some folks it looks like its going to be another great year with quite a few new attendees as well as lots of folks that have come in the past!!! Looking forward to seeing the boats but MOST OF ALL meeting new and hanging with long time Donzi friends!!!
REMINDER that we would like to have a good head count by the beginning of May so we can keep cost of food and t shirts down!! Try to send us your registration by May 1.

Does anyone still bring props for testing? I run a 30p BBlades Bravo 1. I'd like to try a 28p Mirage + or similar 3 blade and maybe a 28p Hydromotive 4 blade. The boat handles great with the Bravo 1 but I think there is a little more speed to be found.

Certainly others can bring props for you to test.
Chris from Turbo usually attends as well. Turbo has donated a multiple gift certificates for props in the past!!

there is a big pull thru car wash im Jamestown on the road to the marina, it will be on your right

Please bear with me as this will be my first year attending and this info may help other newbies too. My tentative plans are to leave very early Thursday morning to arrive in time to wash the rig, get checked into the lodge and be ready to participate in the Show & Shine and cookout. Put the boat in the water Friday morning. Attend all listed events and meals for Friday and Saturday. Pull boat out Saturday evening to be ready to hit the road Sunday morning. My drive will be 500 miles each way. I will get a room for Thur, Fri & Sat nights. The boat will only be in the water for one night and I will need a slip for Friday and Saturday. Sound like a good plan? Of course I will send in the paperwork and fees this month. The papers are printed and ready to send in. Got two items for the auction.

That would be perfect! This is my first AOTH and I think anything Donzi or Aronow related is preferred but anything boating related is good.
-
Just saw those pictures on Facebook that show the Jamestown Marina filled w/timber........
Will that stuff be gone in the next few weeks?
-
I have a few inquires about the lake level and recent pics of the lake. It goes away as fast as it comes in. Most folks have had a very positive attitude and are ready to see old friends, make new ones, and celebrate some awesome hardware!! Can't wait!
Hammer down and get the winter upgrades done!
Thanks for the support of the 15th anniversary of THE AOTH!!
