LOL, good point. :)

They are ready at A-dock. I can see having several drink machines going. At least two. I have Marg Mac on my speed dial!
OK, been working the angles and trying to figure how to get there. The big issue for me is the boat..... to do this I have to fly in, I just have too many other things happening in teh summer to take the time needed to tow The Revenge over there.
So, Can I count on open seats for an excellent Deckhand, and Gas Card Provider?.... I think I know the answer, but have to ask.
Also, does anyone need a roommate. I'll be flying solo and would be good with sharing accomodations. Be arriving Mid-Morning Friday.
Thanks;
I keep hearing about a Donzi deckboat brigade, so I am sure there will be a seat on a slow boat(maybe even a snack too), and most times there will be a seat on a fast one as per usual. You want to be there Thursday night, because the ride south on Friday is a big part of the weekend! Oh, and if you wanted to leave the Revenge after AOTH and drag it back after the Gorge Run, we can work out the logistics...
I think I'm offended you felt you had to ask....:grin:

Oh wait, you were really checking to see if the gas card provider would have a seat, cause we know your deckhand doesn't have to ask. Now I understand!! :bye: :peace:
Jury is still out on RV-launching-boat contest (not that I stood a chance anyway), but 99.9999 % certain we are "in" either way. Booking both a floating cabin & RV spot just to be sure. Bringing RV (my parent's unit) up from Florida in March. They can't use it anymore, and it's been sitting for quite awhile. Lots of things to check and go through towing / safety-capacity-wise. It'd be nice if I find she's ready to pull a boat there, if not, we're good with floating cabin arrangements, back of pick-up / tail-gate (probable no matter what we drive), etc.
I have good "connections" in the towing industry, so I feel certain we'll get there somehow..like it or not.
lemme know where and when in Fla in March, maybe I can meet ya and help ya out
The First Mate and I stayed in Chattanooga last weekend after picking up the new tow vehicle in Atlanta. Very cool out of the way spot.
Talked to the managers, parking the boat behind the cabins couldn't be cooler.
They are a bit rustic, so says the First Mate! But the River looks like a great place to let some Donzis get aired out! :big: On a side note, the Si Fy channel did a special on Hales Bar and how the place is haunted!!! Rum and Ghosts!
Thanks Jim...very much appreciate the offer. Way up North from you though...arctic territory of Ormond Beach. ;) Again, thank you for the offer to help though.

we'll prolly have an informal DMRS gathering in Taveres in March so try and schedule it then, I plan on taking my coach as well, happy to help you and give you some pointers... but the black tank thing is totally on your dime :)
Unfortunately Fuzzy, I am one in the same on this trip...so yeah, I had to ask.
Trip and Cliff are making things interesting, will need to mull over my options, but I think the Fraternal Association Of The Hawk is setting this up as a committee meeting weekend, so we will focus on the "new" boat Brother Gero has. Still, a trip over with Cliff and Di is doable. AND I'm always game for some Slow Deckboat Cruises...with refreshments and...other....delicacies:big:
FAOTH..... Long live the HAWK!!!http://www.donzi.net/forums/images/smilies/yes.gif
Im in....
going to be fun, my project will not be done, but i will be there in the slow blue boat!!!!
now when am I going to find time to get working on my project???
Tex
WHAT project ?
all I can say is it is worthy of the Texan and is over the top.....
Drove over the Chickamagua the other day.. Looking good!
Had a few fols ask me at AOTH about bringing kids. A-dock is kid friendly, and with Carter as your guide WHAT could go wrong??
As far as stuff to do with your kids, there is a TON of things to do and a an awesome museum and aquarium surrounded by excellent restasurants, pluss dozens of other attractions.
Chattanooga fun
Zip lines!
I have been wanting to take our boat there on our first little cruise. This will give me an excuse to go and meet other Donzi owners. Later I will post pictures of the restoration we did on the main cabin.
We are here already anchored in a cove near the bridge. This is our first run. M/V Roundabout. 2000 Z275 donzi. On my cell so don't know if my signature came thru. How nany will be here?

Is there a Gorge Run happening now?! (Organized somewhere else? FB? Sure don't see it here.)
Hope you all have fun.
