Soesn't get any better.. Internet access, well there isn't any unless you drive down road. Awesome day, awesome boating, awesome cmpany, and now I am headed back to dinner on the waters edge!
Will you need a jacket first thing in the morning?
LOL, no not that chilly.. Long pants maybe... :)
Long pants! Those we put away the day after ice out.
You must be from the south.
Ken
LMAO, why yes, yes I am.
Still perfect Classic Fiberglass Boat weather to boat in and open up a Hi-Po boat after say, 6 PM.
We didn't wait till that late ;) :)
I had hear that the cops are pretty much off the water after 6 PM.
Besides no fast boat can deal with the boat speed rule of 45 MPH on the lake. One would almost think that the rules were set in place by boaters driving boats from the 1950's, not the 1960s or later.
Most California lakes are limited to 35 MPH.
Lakes usually have speed limits.
OK, so who knows the boat speed limit set on the Chesapeake Bay away from shore, marinas, and special river entrances?
LG patrol looks more for careless drivers vs speeders. We passed em several times the past four days with ZERO issues. Considering we had boats from 300 to 1400 hp running with us, I think the stories are overblown..
Curious, what lake does not have a speed limit?
Lake Cumberland, Lake Erie, Lake Huron, and Lake Michigan. I'll save you the google search, the Great Lakes have a 55 mph limit within one mile of shore which is never enforced and Lake Cumberland which has no posted limit. Never witnessed a cop with a radar gun on any of these freshwater oceans and trust me, there are plenty of cops out there....
Todd, you are so full of $hit. I have been with you ( and Jill ) in every Lake, Shoreline, Bay and "Ocean" imaginable.
Just an FYI to new folks reading this, ... your 22 Classic with a Potter 4.3 doesn't attract much attention, even with Silent Choice. Especially when you can get it on plane. ??
Hang on, that brings up another issue. ...
...Nevermind...
:D from the great White North ...
Len, you weren't supposed to tell anybody about the 4.3 and now the secret is out. As for the salt, I even bought an aluminum trailer several years ago thinking I could or I might some day, but I never have. Just can't do it. Now, I'll ride with you all day in the stuff....
No stealing Phil's gig. The sandbag 4.3 is in the Firefly.
