So the question is, will there be hickory-grilled steaks?
Who wants steaks Saturday night?
I'd rather look at the roasted pig ,eat it's eyes and ears than chug a BUSHWACKER !!!!!!!!!!!!! PUKE PUKE PUKE ......... lol lol
Booked it
floating cabin reserved
looking forward to it as usual
Cabin booked.
If I had to guess, I'll be having a frickin' small house salad with a side of yogurt. :(
I don't know if I want to come. I always have a terrible time.
Well my last post was definitely in jest...barring anything unexpected, we'll be there as usual. Should have a boat this time as well.
Hard to do when you are towing a boat down there for someone...Ed
Do most stay in dock or land cabins ?
Steaks would be great--happy to pitch in to make it happen.
Assuming I don't find a new and creative way to break something, I'll be joining in this year. Looking forward to the run!!
Come one and all!
Let me know if anyone need rooms. I have a secret stash!
Let me know who all is coming
Lisa and I will be there
I will be there, and most likely Jess as well. Bringing the Minx this year too.
Yep, the Flowerpot Racing Team will be making an appearance. And we are READY! BAM!
Ran into Tyler Wright on Union Lake (Michigan). (His Dad has 22' yellow Donzi Supercharged.) Told us about this event - we'd like to come. He told us to contact you. Please send dates/times/etc if possible.

It's wonderfully loosely defined. I expect we will run down into AL for lunch Friday, and up to Chatt for lunch Sat. Other than that amount of structure, it's more just do what you want.
I am planning to be there. Late Thursday.
Myself and my youngest son Cam.
He enjoyed the run last year.
:boating:
I was advised a week ago - No cabins left- He has a Toy Hauler so
we have a camp site -#6 I think.
Mechanically - May the gods be with us. Better to toe than be toed though.
Heck - I would be happy with a chair on A dock!

Back in 1995 I rebuilt a 66 16' Donzi I owned since 1980.
Back then - not in the know- I thought I had a sweet 16. I also thought a Sweet 16 1966 was a good screen name.
Then a few years ago Mrs H wanted to make name tags based on screen names.
I had to right the wrong.
This is a great scenic fun run.
The rules are - there are no rules - Just great running water during the day and
the festive folks of A dock at night.
Thank You to the contributions of those who let us invade their paradise for a couple days.
Hey Rick. All the responses here are pretty accurate. The agendas are fairly loose. But the setting is awesome, think Red Neck Yacht Club. Fantastic boating, a lot of great scenery, and no one takes themselves very seriously at this run.
Hales Bar is a short jump off of 24 just west of Chattanooga. Figure 12 hours to tow from Mi. Most of us break up the tow. We will run Friday and Saturday as a group. First day is a long down south run into the wild. The second day is a run north through the Gorge to Chatt. The city is set up well for the river runners. Saturday night, and come to think of it, Friday nights can get fairly paranormal, which is code-speak for deadly. There is also the indigenous Squidbilly, which must be experienced to truly understand...
PM me with your contact info, if you have further questions. Come on down!
I'm going next year! I just have other commitments this year... I'd love to see it though.
:nuts:Now, I just have to figure out where I left the Flowerpot! Been awhile.
LOTS to do in the next couple days to get ready...
Deb and I will be there mid afternoon Friday. Will rescue stranded runners coming from Goose Pond
The weather is here, the boats are fast, the beverages are cold....
Hedge and Christine,
Just wanted to say thank you for arranging all the great lunch (The grits/shrimp were awesome) and dinner venue's. My crew and I had an awesome time at A-dock. The Gorge is a truely great place to run with a group of friends and the water conditions were perfect and the scenery was off the charts.
It's always great to see our friends and meet some new one's and run with some amazing hardware.
Take care and we will be back. :thumbs:thumbs
Gregg, Tyler, Logan and Yellow Devil
Also Jake (aka jr. captain) had a great time to even thou the Indian spirts has him spooked.
Thanks for another amazing trip! The winery and Taco Mamacita were great calls, and the A-dock dinner you and Christina put together was outstanding. Amy, Jay & Eddie really did it up right. It was great to see you as always, and we really appreciate your amazing hospitality. The shuttle driving Christina did was way above and beyond the call.
Great to see everyone. Far too many thanks to go around for me to get right right now (slept 10 of the last 16 hours since we pulled in last night). But for starters, thanks for everyone making the trip.
Mike & Lisa
A cracked water pump housing put us on the sidelines, so we had to enjoy just kicking back and taking in the scenery. The bald eagle sighting on the way to Goosepond was completely
awesome. Thanks to those of you who let us grab seats. Most relaxing weekend I have had all summer. Thanks to all involved in putting this one together. We'll be back.
Great event!
Tks a bunch Mr & Mrs Hedge.
Thanks for making us all feel like rock stars ...or at least in the presence of several.
Nooga is my kind of place.
You can feel the way the community there is one and everyone takes care of each other.
Heck, when I checked out Sunday - the girl who took my cable box was having ribs for breakfast!
