Grizz- talk to Lady Grizz and reconsider bringing the scooter - I may need it. I think I have gout or something like it. My foot looks like a football! It won't stop me but if not better by then I may have to plant myself in the 22 and just stay there for the weekend. Is Gero coming with painkiller? Can someone take care of me and provide boat service?

Looks like central time is the plan. For those that need a ride, we have seats available. Looks like it will be just Kathy and me making the run so we have a bench wide open. Of course we will not be hangin' with the flower pot once we leave the no wake zone I suspect. I'm gonna need more motor to hang with this crowd.

Grizz, if you need some items transported let me know... I should be able to stop by Friday to pick up, but we still are looking like a Sat morning arrival and Sat evening departure from TN. Looking forward to seeing everyone!

Tex, why don't I just rent a car? It is only 100.00 for the four days. It is farther than 1 1/2 hours, you have to go all the way through Atlanta, traffic, etc..... That way you can make sure the boat is nice and cool for the Weasel. No reason for you to have to drive 4-5 hours all the way down and back. Plus, anyone could use it to shuttle back and forth at Hales.

Google Maps has it at 145 miles and 2 hours 38 minutes. Just have a cold cocktail ready for me.

Default Looks like I'm stuck chasing Tex alone...

Byron has to bail. Haven't talked to him yet, but the standard work is busy, travel, and family stuff. I was looking forward to running with him, because even though we run at the same place, we haven't yet. Been a Malibu/Formula summer.

I know for a fact that Gero is aware of this upcoming weekend. He is still irritated at me, blew a cork actually, for poking at him for letting his boat sit at the dock at AOTH, so somebody else will have to give him a call.

    I will call Gero.

That sucks that Byron won't be able to make it. I was looking forward to seeing his boat run. I tried to lure him out with some of the "is anyone else bringing a fast boat" talk. I understand busy though. I am glad that my work is not too bad during summer.

Hmmmm.....beat up, put in airline baggage, having my man card revoked, called a donkey......guess I had better sack up and go. I do still have my testicles, but they might wilt a little in the heat. Alright, I am in. Tough crowd.

Seriously, I might be a little lethargic. Althought I am from Atlanta, the last time I was in good ole' southern heat and humidity was 4 years ago for my brothers wedding in Charleston, SC. I almost passed out, but I was in a full Tux. So, I might be strolling around naked for much of the weekend..... What is the temp of the ole' Tennessee River? Probably going to be spending alot of time in it....... Living in Wyoming for 16 years definetly changes your tolerance for heat.......

Ok, so everyone remember this when Weasel is not happy about the cold winters!

    The water temp is pleasant.
