The ole A-dock to cabin transport. Good idea. I have a friend that does it in his Dinghy. I am thinking that a Donzi would be more fitting for Grizz. I imagine that he will have many flavors to choose.

    Default River Run

    Hello All!

We have been working on logistics for several days to get this pulled off, but it looks like Kathy and I will be attending with the 22. (Tough to get time off on the last weekend of the month in the car biz, not to mention child care issues.) Still not sure what days(s) other than likely arrival early Sat AM and departing late Sat PM. We may have a straggler, but should have a seat or 2 available. Grizz, glad you and Barb are well and if you hear from Tom maybe he would like a spin in the Tomahawk again?

Kathy is a mean baker so desserts can be arranged. Any other food needed? We are looking forward to seeing y'all again and meeting some more of you. Please let us know what we can bring.

We met you guys at Eufala last year and I must admit that the old "Tomahawk" was in very good hands. A few more coming for this run, but there will be some familiar faces in the pack including Poodle, Russ, Donzi Vol, myself, and of course, the infamous Griz. Should feel right at home!

    See ya soon.

No, I would not consider your boat to be small. I have a couple of A/C's that could hit a little harder yet. One in the pilot house and one in the master stateroom.

Heck, I am looking forward to this. Since I had my last Chemo, I don't do well in heat either. however a moving boat is good. It will be great to see a Chris Romer again. A 55 romer was the first boat I changed injectors in and piloted for two weeks in Jersey. They were one of my Dad's all time favorites. We are in a little dilemma here Barb wants to drive her 350Z and the cart won't fit. I am not sure if I want to ride with Mario A(aka Barb) on the roads to Elljay and up without a blind fold on. Some how Drifting up to Chattanooga in a Z does not fair well with lunch. You got to love this LADY,brass and all. She is great from the re neck biker bashes to the inaugural ball.

Gotta respect a Lady that can drift. Lot's of good hills and turns between Ellijay and Chattanooga.

Hedge, have you been on THAT road to Elijay? I drove down to see the Grizzs last year before Eufala and them are some hills!

Could be some fun in the Z... C'mon, Grizz, man up!

Had a Virago 900 in the late 80's and used to ride that route. Pretty **** fun. My favorite was in North Georgia from Dalonaga to Suches. Amazing.

Hell, bring the Z, you will get there faster......

Oh yeah. They are pretty intense. We ran around that area a bunch in the kayaking days. Like to go back though.

Just do what I used to do back when you thought the left lane was called the fast lane because you should go as fast as the pedal on the floor would allow and get the h*** out of your way .......Just close your eyes and hang on!
