    1. Tennessee is actually HOTTER than I thought it would be.
    2. Tex's Pacemaker has better airconditioning than NASA
    3. Hedge's Roamer is bigger than any of my busses.
    4. Jim Critter is perfect, and he makes sure it stays that way, and if you are with him, he will make you make sure it stays that way too....

    6. Barbara is not afraid......of anything
    7. Susan has a bicep like steel for holding hats on her head for 3 hours
    8. Donzi Vol didn't break down becuase he chalked up some good JUJU helping another boater.
    9. The fish and chips at the Big River Grill are good.
    10. Don't EVER order a Pina Colada in front of Donzi members. I am still waiting to get my man card back.
    11. Bushwakers can be your freind and enemy at the same time.
    12. Jet ski's will fit into hot tubs.
    13. Flower pots will go well north of 80 mph.
    14. When Bryan makes a pot of coffee in the morning, everyone on A dock shows up. No need to go looking for anyone.
    15. Christina, Jill and Hiedi don't sweat.
    16. Scott Baxter may or may not be related to John Oats of Hall and Oats, in a good way.

That wasn't sweat, it was condensation.

I think by the time I left I had the heat licked. I have found that 16 years of living in Wyoming seems to lower my resistance to heat. No problem though, the Bushwackers and your jet fuel turbine powered A/C kept me cool.

    Default yep...Chatt and back w/out a tow!

    East Tennessee...

What a great weekend! I needed a little time away from the ordinary, and I think a lot of my fellow attendees did as well. It was great getting to know some of you guys better and sharing some great stories. My list of what I learned:

    1. There is something special about East TN (especially A-Dock!)
    2. Bushwackers are a good thing...in moderation
    3. I brought the wrong pie
    4. It's a good thing that I like the view of the back of a Donzi
    5. I need a big boat (known that one for a while)
    6. Most importantly: It feels really good to be the guy towing a boat rather than the guy being towed!

Had fun guys...let's do it again sooner rather than later.

    All the best,
    David

    Default As for me

    1. Tripper makes a great martini
    2. Donzi Vol's boat works
    3. Tripper and Jill may be closet dog owners. I am scared that when they come back, Ali may go home with them.
    4. Grizz likes boats, period. Large, small, fast, slow as long as they have character.
    5. Weasel has lots of self confidence. Any guy that can pull off ordering a peniscolada and not look sweet is the man.
    6. Tripper makes a great martini
    7. The mystery guy Inferno is a cool guy.
    8. Barbara is a trooper (oh wait, I knew that).
    9. Bushwhackers should be a mandatory Donzi event drink.
    10. The Gorge is a great setting for an event
    11. Buiz had a cool Tahoe. Hell, I may even buy it.
    12. A jet ski will fit in a hot tub

    Hmm, where to start??

Well, the most obvious: A Dock RULES! We can't say enough about your hospitality, and your party facilities. Thanks for sharing it with us, we will return!

The Roamer is way cooler in person than in pics. You did well Bill.

Bryan didn't do to bad either

27ZX's make a heck of a good photo stand.

While Max ruled the Labs and whatnot, Tripod the Pomeranian rules the dock. Luckily Max is a quick study.

Downtown Chat is a heck of a happening place!

Jill can find Fat Tire in the weirdest places.

Mexican food in Tenn? Si Senor, eet is very good...

I can keep Todd's boat from chinewalking..

Weasel is shorter than I thought

The ladies of A dock are easily lured in with Dragon Noodles.

The ladies of A dock are very tolerant of their menfolks antics..

The Gorge is a place I NEED to run my own boat in. I won't show up boatless again.

    Tennesee has some cool aquariums.

Barb, well, ya had to be there..

3 lbs of Dragon Noodles are not enough.

I still love the Grey boat.. Be afraid Russ, be very afraid

As always, Donzi folks rock. Thanks to all that made it happen, thanks to all that attended and shared the fun with us all, and thanks for keeping the faith

Oh, last but not least: Your first trip through the Dragon should NOT be in an RV....

    At dusk... :rd:
