    Default Last minute shot

Been trying to figure out if I could make this trip for a while. Only chance is to go stag. Turns out I can go and I can get a room at Hale's.

I just bought another boat (aww $hit--red boat row gets one bigger) but the trailer has no chance to be ready in time for this trip.

When I first talked to Hedge over a week ago, it sounded like there were plenty of boats for the Gorge weekend. But it sounds like there's been a fair amount of attrition since then, so I have no feel if there's room to hitch a ride.

So, if anyone has a sense of whether there are enough boats that I should hop in the car and just do it, let me know ASAP either way. I will confirm my room and be down tomorrow afternoon. (And will likely have space for a couple more people, if anyone is stuck with a campsite or anything like that.) If the answer is we're short of space, no worries, I will just wait for another event.

    Thanks,

    Mike

Mike, I am sure there will be plenty of seats. Between Stan, Andre, Bill, Brian (hopefully), Jim, Cliff, Phil, Parnell, and god knows who else, there should be plenty of seats. For example, not speaking for them by any means, Stan and Susan should have seats and I know Cliff will have some seats. Jim will have seats also. I think Parnell is coming solo also. We will tie you to a deck if we have too..... I bring gas money, but no one has ever taken any even though I offer. Doesn't hurt to keep some in your pocket to help out with whatever boat you end up in. Plus, Susan could use and official hat holder.

    Get your ass down there!

Okay, my arm is plenty twisted. I'll be down tomorrow afternoon, maybe in the 3 -6 range.

If anyone needs a place to crash, they said my "rustic cabin" sleeps up to 7. Supposedly, it is a 2 min walk from A-dock...maybe that's 4 minutes if you're weaving.

I will bring plenty of beer and gas money, and a steak for the grill night.

Is there anything else that would be a help? More side dishes? Desserts? Cups/plates/napkins/utensils? Anything?

That's easy to do. Preferred brand/style?

Dark? Light? Bacardi? Cruzan? 80 proof? 151?

I looked at a bunch of Bushwacker recipes online and I have seen all sorts of different variations. Not sure what a proper A-dock Bushwacker employs...
