Okay...so my plans have changed for the weekend of Chatt... It looks like I will be able to make it.

    However, Hales says they're full.

Does anyone have (constructive) suggestions for an alternative place to stay?

Drop me a line. I am at the marina. I can go talk to them and see. They held some rooms for a good while.

    Default Aaaarrrrrgggghhhhh!!!!

It seems Lisa's camper has rotted out, can't be towed, not worth fixing, sooooooo..... We're stuck with the three of us (me, Andrew, and Lisa) in her 6 sleeper tent. Hope y'all keep us numb enough on bushwackers to be able to stand it. Andrew's first question was...can't we get a cabin? My response...even if we could get one at this stage of the game...you'd get the nasty fold out in the dining area. Just ask Tim how comfy that is. LOL

So count on 3 of us...just not exactly sure of where we'll be sleeping. Calling Hales Bar in the A.M. Planning to arrive around noon Friday, if not sooner.

Sorry folks. They held rooms as long as they could.

The best option at this point is to book a room at the Holiday Inn Express in Kimball. It is no more than 10 minutes from the marina. Boats can be left here at A Dock.

They are to notify me with cancellations and I will post them here so it is first come first serve. Rumor has it that the softball group that booked a bunch of rooms will be having some fallout so we can probably pick up some more next week.

After that it is tent city. You can pitch a tent right by A Dock. We will supply bushwhackers!

Deb and I will be bringing twice baked potatoes, slaw and plastic ware for the Saturday night meal. Might need an extra Bushwacker to help me getting it over to A Dock...

I might be out. My mother in law had an emergency surgery last night while out here on vacation. If she has to stay for a while and my father in law has to go home, I will have to stay and take care of her. I should know more in the next day or two. Family is always first, but I will do my best to make it.
