Default 4 hours late, but finally made it!

Well, after some blow-ups at work, getting a trailer tire repaired, afternoon traffic, and the usual gas/drinks stop I got on the road...at 9:00! Finally got here, and the early folks had already gotten it started right.

Come on the rest of you...see you soon.

What a dang good time. Hedge is in the airport flying out to work but the party is still going on. I want to thank everyone that attended. The run got a little bigger this year and would not have been the same without help fro some key individuals. Who to thank? Basically everyone. There was not a sole there that the not help in some way. That is what made it a great run. Every time I turned around someone was doing something or buying something. W had a GREAT group of people. I was certainly busy but am more than happy to kick off the third annual Gorge run next year!

    Default Super weekend...

I saw some of the behind the scenes logistics opportunties, especially with the race gas, and the extra effort was greatly appreciated. End result was trading drive-bys with Tex and Dre all the way back from Goose Pond and some very memorable moments on the water, without having to worry about running out of fuel.

This was just one example of a great weekend. The Gorge Run rocks. And it's the people that really make it.

    Thanks Bill.

Default Lost my "event" virginity this weekend....

...and all I can say is that it is hard to fathom the amount of octane required to turn those screws that dang fast....unbelievable....and an absolutely awesome great time.

    Default good times

I believe that a great weekend was had by all. Thanks to all who traveled for many many hours to get here. I hope that the TN River Gorge was a wonderful scene for you to see and run in.

Thanks go out to Hedge, Lady Hedge, and the A-dock regulars for making the weekend seamless. It seems to me that in the midst of all the work, you guys still got to have some fun...and that's a good thing!

Looking forward to seeing you all again soon. Pictures to post, but bed for a while first.

Had a blast. Thanks to everyone for the making it all happen, and for the fantastic dinner (including a big shout out to Todd who did yeoman's work over a hot grill cooking a ton of steaks.)

Bill thanks again for all your hospitality, and please tell Christina thanks again as well. Also thanks to the folks at A-dock who made us all welcome.

And special thanks Cliff, and Stan and Susan for the great rides. I had an absolute ball.

Default Thank you just doesn't cut it

Andrew and I had such a wonderful time! The runs were incredible. Thank you, Bill and Christina, for all you do. It is so very appreciated. Phil, I'm so glad I finally got to meet you and Lisa. Andre and Cally, thank you for dragging us along with you. Your boat is awesome! Cliff, do you realize that was the first time I'd gotten a ride in your Critter, a truly beautiful, exciting boat! Tex, Sunday was beautiful and fun. I'm so glad we got to hang with you guys again on Sunday. Todd what a feast Saturday! Poodle, great noodles once again! Buizilla, I'm just a little sad that I didn't get a chance to sample the Flipper dip...next time! Ghost, you are a scholar and a gentleman for taking Andrew and I in. I would have died of heat exhaustion if I'd actually had to stay in a tent! And thank you Donziweasel for hooking us all up. Also, thank you so much, Ghost, for the teeshirts. They are a beautiful tribute Randy. Poodle, great noodles once again! If I've forgotten anyone, please know that I love you all, you are just such an incredible group of awesome human beings. Everyone was so incredibly welcoming and inclusive in taking care of us, boatless, homeless, and all! You all have become my second family and I am so blessed to call all of you friends. I can't wait to next year...when I WILL have a boat, because I WILL learn how to drive the new and improved D*mn Donzi! Thank you again!

    Love you all,
    Barb
