No worries Mr. Senator. It was good to finally run with you guys. I headed north after we parted ways. The boat ran like a scalded cat and I ended up with over 100 miles on the GPSr.

Even though I didn't actually make the formal run It was good to see everyone again, even if just for a short time. Thanks to everyone who made this event possible. I know it takes a lot of work behind the scenes to make things happen. I know a lot of people had a great time.

jl1962: I enjoyed meeting and talking with you on Friday but I have to admit it wasn't 'till much latter that I made the connection between your screen name and your real name. Too many new faces in too short a time.

It was good to finally meet Big Grizzly. I wish we could have talked a bit...

'Poodle: I'm glad you didn't get "Mad Dog". The blue boat suits you.

Matty: On Sunday who had the Testarosa 22? ...and who had the white/yellow 22? I'm still trying to figure out who everyone is...

    Frank,

About 9:45 Sunday morning I left Treasure Cove between raindrops and headed North. I figured I would buzz the Sagamore and every one having brunch. Halfway up it started to rain hard so I turned and ran back south. Later, when I got back to TC, Scott P and others said they saw me (red boat/white seats) in front of the Sagamore but I never made it that far - it must have been you. Sorry we didn't get to run together. As I was driving home, it was bright sunshine by the time I reached Albany, I almost turned around. Oh well, we'll do it another time. Perhaps Kirby and I could meet you on Champlain sometime.

Frank, sorry I didn't get to meet you Friday night and I wasn't able to make the tour on Sunday. We shold definately try to get the boats together over the summer, when jay is up in August. I'm in Ticonderoga almost every weekend.

Matty, Scott, Cheri and Marie...Fantastic job. i've run other kinds of events in teh past and know the amound of work and coordination it takes to pull off a classy event like this one. Loved the format, and we can definately add a northern stop for the pocker run in Heart Bay next year.
