He did admit to getting spanked, but he was also proud of the fact they had to work harder to spank him this year. Methinks next year (or hell, maybe even later this summer) they might have a couple new tricks to show him....

Appreciate the friendly comments, as usual, about the Flowerpot.

Funny thing, the only Donzis I saw up front all weekend were Gregg’s yellow 22 and Steve’s red 18.

For the first time in several years, I decided to run in clean water, instead of playing sweep boat,
and had a ball doing it. It also gave us a great chance to run with the Cig boys both days.

Did I go by any of these guys in a race? No. Was I really trying? Not really. I just enjoyed the runs
and seeing some awesome machinery do its thing.

    You guys should try it.

One of the best memories I have I the weekend was 4 boats running pretty strong through the tight turns on the way to some waterfalls (in which we never got there account some poor swimmers in the middle of the lake) as I recall there where the 3 said boats above along with an aweful nice silver and orange Ciggy all holding tight lines and no one really racing but running 4 abreast, something you had to have been there to appreciate. I certainly wasn't the fastest but I did get to run up towards the front in clean water and the boat went back on the trailer unbroken to play another day
