The MWDC is bringing Delmonicos to be prepared over an open fire Saturday night.

To get one on order, please be counted!

    Default Awesome event!

Made it home yesterday afternoon. Took the midgets to the river today for some tubing in exchange for a boat wash. They just got done rinsing off the last little bit of Hale's, along with some mysterious drink stains. Looked like a combination of Miller lite, rum panty droppers, and what I hope was a bushwhacker...

Epic weekend without a doubt - the "other slow boat" and crew are definitely on board for next year. Huge thumbs up and thanks to Hedgehog, Inferno, LRT, MP, Zman, and the rest of the motley crew for putting on such a great event and welcoming the new guys. Now we know what to expect for next year and will prepare accordingly. Mrs. duckhunter just rolled her eyes when I cracked open the Summit Racing catalog....

Sorry guys, but our plans have changed. We are out for this run and I was really looking forward to it.
For those of you that I still owe AOTH t-shirts to, I will get them in the mail to you shortly.

As teh resident virgin.... yeah I know, right!!.... what do I need to bring Food wise. Todd's note on Steaks has me curious. I'm not really a Steak guy... To much Beef for me (odd being aTexan), I'm more of a Stuffed Pork Chop dude (as my belly can attest).

So, how much cooking is done?

Had a blast, thanks to all for making it such a good time. Great to see everyone and meet some new folks too.

    A bunch of belated thank-yous:
    • Special thanks to Bill, Christina, Bryan, Carter, Cam, Cam's dad Todd, and the rest of the locals and A-dock for hosting and making us all so welcome.
    • Big thanks to Todd, Jill, Bryan, Carter, Poodle, Andre and Cali (pardon my spelling in advance) for the awesome rides that were way faster than my boat will ever go.
    • Thanks to Diana, Heidi, Jim, Cliff, and Poodle for Sunday dinner.
    • Thanks to MWDC for steaks, and to Todd (and anyone else) who slaved over a hot grill, and everyone for all the great food.
    • Thanks to Cam for making the gas run for everyone.
    • Thanks to everyone, especially Andrew, for handing beers to my literally lame a$$ when I was on the DL.
    • Thanks to the cop on I-81 who recognized I was only being polite, trying to hurry out the way of that Jeep he ended up ticketing.
    • And a bunch more I've probably missed.

Also, I had a handful of inquries about whether it was possible to get more of the shirts I made. It turns out that the place that I got them printed, Zazzle.com, has the ability to make them available for order for anyone, online. I set that up just a bit ago. This link should work: http://www.zazzle.com/chatt_boat_tri...24418862568548

Don't ask me who the slightly monkey-faced model is--clearly not me, and nobody I know. Probably some rich dude who invented Zazzle and does coke off models now...

For some reason, the website insists on adding at least $2 per shirt in royalties, which supposedly will go to me someday. (I set the royalty percentage to zero in their system, and it spat it back out with impunity, insisting the minimum was 10 percent.) So, if anyone orders any shirts, I'll more than happily hand you back your $2 when I see you. But only if you ask me like the paperboy from Better Off Dead.
