most all the fast outboard guys down here do that, the machine shop down the street does a helluva nice job too, they do NOT break again after the repair, strong enough to twist the splines... they have even made custom thicker shafts and cut matching new splines from rough round stock, I was going to have them make some spare SS drive verticalsHavent read online about that fix yet! (until now) Haha!
But that would be some skunkworks for sure!!
