    Russ,

There are two parts of the Marina. If you have a floating cabin, you will eat the south end. Duckhunter is the social coordinator for that section. Tony at the store can direct you to A dock. If it is quiet pat the floating cabins, we will be at A dock. My Chris Craft is the big boat at the very end (lake side). Folks will be hanging around there.

I won't be getting down until Friday afternoon. It anyone passing through knoxville needs anything before then, give me a call. I'm only about 3 miles off of interstate 40/75 close to downtown.

    Hedge - Thanks!
I will be in the first 1 br cabin - you get to on the left 2- on the river. I've been climbing the mountain of prep work and hope to be there late Thurs. night to make it to Goose pond Friday if that's the plan. Wife - Sheila said she has to babysit the old blue healer/Australian shepherd mix. Hes old and does nothing much but pass gas and sleep.
No time to wash the boat so it is what it is, we will spend more time together somewhere off the boats anyway. Hedge please allow me to bring something if it will help the cause, i dont drink much with bushwhacker being the exception and remedy for the headache i am going to have,

Thanks for the hospitality Lets have some fun, Wish I COULD BRING MY SUPERGLIDE,

I'm traveling for work this week, and Jessica has to work through Friday, so we won't be leaving Knoxville til Friday-late afternoon/early evening. Hoping to be rolling in by 7 with the Minx in tow. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Wow. Back to normal life and finally on speaking terms with my liver. It was touch-and-go there for a minute.

It was really great seeing everyone again at the Gorge Run. Huge thanks in particular to Bill and Christina for their tremendous hospitality and the legwork that goes on behind the scenes to pull something like this off. Thanks to everyone else for being fun to hang out with; even Stan was on his best behavior! Couldn't get calendars lined up with the rest of the normal dh crew, but I had the pleasure of breaking in some new crewmembers on the bowrider, which is always a hoot.

The A-dockers coordinated for beautiful weather and water conditions all weekend. Everything from glass calm to light chop for the 18s to play in. No significant mechanical issues for anyone, which is always a relief. The few ankle biters that popped up were dealt with accordingly.

Lots of new iron (fiberglass?) this year, with the highlights for me being the ridiculously nice 43ZR and the new Hornet in the Buizilla fleet. Many of the usual suspects were there as well. I always think about what must be going through the pontoon boater and kayaker's minds when the first loud boat goes by, followed shortly by the rest of the pack. And then me.

Overall it was an awesome time with awesome folks, as usual. It was great seeing everyone again and putting new faces with names. I can't wait to see what 2015 brings...

    Default Short, but very sweet

As always, it was great spending time with everyone, catching up, telling stories (some true...some only slightly true), and enjoying some of the best boating out there. A big thanks to Duckhunter for having us along for the Saturday ride. The bowrider is a cool ride...and it's setup nicely. Jess had a great time at her first Donzi gathering, just as I had suspected.

Awesome event / weekend !! Many thanks to Bill & Christina for hosting us and putting such a wonderful event together. Southern hospitality and cuisine defined ! Thank you Mr. & Mrs. Hedgehog for a wonderful weekend !

Russ, many thanks for the ride with you and Cameron ! First ride in a 22, and my word, what a ride it was ! Through a garage at 70-ish mph, hard to port at at 70-ish, hard to starboard at 70-ish, chasing down bass-boats at will, dodging Stan's drive-shower's at 70-ish, etc. Had a blast, and thanks again !

Thanks to Goose Pond Marina for having the exact fuel pump I needed to replace mine that crapped out on me that I've been meaning to change since I bought her. Many thanks also to Duckhunter, Buizilla, and the A-Dock team for all the help, guidance, and support to get FireFly running Sat morning.

Lenny & Deneen are a hoot and an absolute pleasure to meet. Thanks again Lenny for helping me get my old tub on the trailer where she belongs.

How Ghost's wife sleeps with him after a night out at a Mexican Restaurant will have to remain a mystery. The engineer of the CSX train that went by everynight and the Captain of the Turd-Toon were complaining on the VHF channels.... (Jus' kiddin'...thanks Ghost ! )

I love this event like a fat-kid loves cake !

Several people came up to me on Saturday morning and thanked me for the aggressive martinis the previous night. Ghost especially. Could become a tradition, just like it is for Hedge and I!
