    Default Torn exhaust bellows

So last week I just paid the mechanic serious cash because of a leak in the shift kit bellows. I have them put in a whole new bellows assembly, cable kit, bushing seal, and do the gear lube.

They also said my trailering lift button was not lifting the motor up for trailering. I know it only went a very short distance up and I honestly thought that was there to keep a driver from over tilting the motor and loosing control. They asked if my tilt gauge worked, yes it does, they sail that it was broken and they could bypass it so I could lift it for trailering and monitor it on the dash when underway.

I haven't called them yet as I found it Sunday. Did the Bellows tear from overextension?
    See attached thumbnail
    It is an Alpha 1 on a 94 - 16

they used part #816431A1- Bellows Assy

I want to understand this better to discuss it frankly with them, my internet research turned up conflicting information.

    thanks in advance
    David
