Henry, glad you're making the trip. This is the marina...they have several types of accomodations, though I don't know how booked they are.

    Default Need to clarify...

We had to pull out of this event, NOT because it wasn't "kid-friendly", which was my bad choice of words. It's just that our children's schedules this summer are not being kid-friendly for our attending this event. We're a blended family as most of ya'll know, and it just worked out that my promised trip to the beach to my daughter coincided with this event. We'd be there in a heartbeat otherwise. I just lifted our reservations for both a floating cabin and RV spot number 5, as we weren't sure how we would be rolling this year.

As Poodle has said, the Gorge Run is very kid-friendly, and there are many things to see and do there. Having experienced the hospitality of A-Dock twice now, you won't find any better, and the Gorge Run is beautiful.

My favorite memory of last year's was that section of the river that runs along I-24 for a couple of miles, and about 20 Donzi's passing the cars that were doing 70 mph on I-24 ! Thanks again Dre for the awesome ride, and thanks to all of the A-Dock folks that made us feel so welcome. Leesa & I had a blast...and wish so much we could make it this year !

Try to make it if you can...

Default Sorry to see that Phil...

As for us, well, after some logistics work and finagling around, we are back in the run. Looking forward to seeing almost everyone and hanging out with the folks who have a true understanding of what these runs are all about. See you there.

I've got a crew of 3 for the Gorge Run. After missing AOTH we can't wait to see everyone. Phil, you will be missed but we will take down a couple of cars on I-24 with drink in hand for ya!

    Unhappy Dam....

I had 2 little boats going an hour from this Ho Down that I HAD to have delivered by last weekend to Mooresville Al + Oakridge Tenn, but couldn't hold them off till 6/19. I was hoping to "Bling" up and maybe go Fountain riding "Reggie" style...... and get Bushwhacked. Oh well I tried, let it be known. Was gonna deliver a shiny Italian crotch rocket for a real nice Lady, 2...... Have fun YA 'll, Ill keep trying
