    Default Official AOTH attendance thread

Since no one has posted this so far and AOTH is only a month out, I thought I would throw it out there.

Lisa and I will be there, sans a running boat and begging for rides.

The mechanics are working on the 22 today( Easter). I told them to take the day off ,but there getting slammed at the shop, as the weather is getting warm in NC. So maybe I'll have it for the Awakening if all goes well. If not the 18 is sitting in the batter's box ready to go !!!

Stan, you do know there is no refueling barge to follow you around in the 22?

If I bring it Todd said he would pay for all fuel deliveries and suggested even to get Cam 2 at the dock. My mechanic said I should be able to get 3 miles down river and 3 miles back before I need to fill up again. Glad Todd has deeeeep pockets.

Hearing what is under the hatch of the 22, I think your mechanic is being a little optimistic. I'd say you might be able to start it, put it in gear, get on a plane for a minute or two and then you ready for a fill up!

What do you mean Stan? We are going to both be sitting there out of fuel as I will burn all of mine trying to catch-up with you. Thank goodness we have tow boats at AOTH. Now, if we could just figure out inflight fueling barges...

Registration for Lisa and me is in in the mail.

    Lifelines on the way.

Too bad I don't have a boat that works...

Lenny: You are going to have to just buy another Donzi and store it here somewhere in the "States" just for your use in these sorts of meets & events.

Sorry guys,I will not be able to attend this year because of my severe health issues.
I still have several months of radiation treatments .

    Happy Birthday !

    Default Update!

Just did a quick census and it looks like we are going to have 30-35 boats and about 90-100 people on the docks, according to pre-registrations received, and adding in the few stragglers I haven't received, yet.

This is about average for the Awakening. What will not be average is all of the unique characters coming in from all over the place for this one! Going to be a very, very good time with a great mix of people! And oh, did I mention their boats?

For those of you still on the fence about coming out, make the right choice and bring it! You will not regret it and we will take late registrants at a slightly higher fee, but still worth every penny for one of the best Donzi/Aronow performance runs of the year!

Get them tuned and see you all there!
