well it looks like there will be alot of first timers coming and that is wonderful and I am sure they are gonna love it, so as the winter loosing it grip on us I am sure the smack talk will start and evryone fine tunes their winter projects some rumors are circulating about bringing fishing boats well as long as they are a st tropez or an el pescasador
there will be some minor changes to our safety routine but nothing major and the flag ships are ready to go
this will be one for the books

Sounds like it is going to be a great time Matty. WIsh I could make it this year, but does not look like it is in the cards for 2008. Plus, my donzi fishing boats do not qualify You guys have fun, be safe, and take lots of pics.

    Fish,
you could borrow the keys to that awesome 16 you guys re did , and keep the faith as the club is turning almost 15 years old the eligibility committee and the membership committee will have to open up the books and re visit the definition of a classic at our winter meeetings in the near future

I definitely thought about it, that would make an awesome trip. Hopefully I can make the next one. As for the fishboat, no biggie, I think i am with the majority of folks who truly appreciate Donzi's in that the classics are the classics, and then there are some other donzis. Maybe we can call them the classics and the Emos. LOL

well things are coming together nicely, I hear we have some real history buffs, donzi afficiandos, and motor heads coming this year well be prepared this year's trivia quiz will test all facets of these plus take a new twist I'd get out those old beach boys and chad and dean 45's, brush up on the classic releases from hollywood this will be the hardest test of inconsequncial, nonsensecle, minutia ever, this year's winner will have to be the best
so bring your number 2 lead,
this years trivia quiz is sponsored by SPAM and cheeze wiz

ok update we have all the flag boats in place

first leg to stop 1 from now on will be the ambassador leg and will be lead by the reigning winner of the club's ambassador award so this year it will be Scott Baxter aka madpoodle not sure what boat it will have but the lead boats will be the same as last year the rare or uncommon classics

second leg to stop 2 will be Kirby Van Vleet aka kirbyvv in his orange X 18 and he will lead the 18 classics

third leg to stop 3 will be Dwight Jeckel aka air 22 in his red bling 22 classic and he will lead the 22 classics

fourth leg to stop 4 will be Jay Lurie in his 1967 all red 16 and he will lead all the 16 classics

fifth leg to stop 5 will be Bob Haver in yellow fever his white and yellow 22 classic this will be the "ISH", bling badda bing leg and he will lead the stock "ISH", blinged out, souped up ,classics
